quilt study :

inspired by the fabric on a blanket that my meemaw made. i was laying on it memorial day weekend last year on the dock of my parents lake house when i started this. sun was out, beer was cold, mom was chatty. those are a lot of my favorite things all at once so it makes me happy and warm.

  - may not be cut perfectly to a standard size or cut perfectly straight (they will look cute in inexpensive floating frames or support your local framers! )

  - may have pencils marks, water marks, splatters
  - may have concept sketches, color studies etc on the back of them (i try not to be wasteful and use materials for as long as i can)
