cope :

the first time I went to therapy my therapist told me i had poor coping mechanisms. i struggled to find constructive ways to cope with adhd and anxiety. after lots of trials and mostly errors i reconnected with art. discovering i can paint or sketch some of my worries, fictional catastrophic scenarios, doom spirals into something pretty was magic. repetitive patterns are especially helpful with this. these are my favorite flowers to paint, easy but messy. the stripes feel grounding and the colors are happy and bright.

  • 5.25” x 7” gouache study on 140lb cold press arches paper

  • please note that colors may vary slightly in person

  • artist retains all rights to artwork for reproduction

  • STUDIO SALE : these pieces are mostly evidence of process meaning they:

    - may not be cut perfectly to a standard size or cut perfectly straight (they will look cute in inexpensive floating frames or support your local framers! )

    - may have pencils marks, water marks, splatters
    - may have concept sketches, color studies etc on the back of them (i try not to be wasteful and use materials for as long as i can)
